The ISTP Scientific Committee encourages all researchers and practitioners to contribute to the program by submitting abstracts for poster presentation.
Abstracts will not be considered unless they are submitted online, in accordance to the rules, instructions, and format detailed on this page.
Papers must be original and must not have been published or presented at any other meeting prior to the Congress.
Presenting authors must be registered participants. Registration should be received by the Secretariat by February 15, 2008 to ensure the inclusion of the paper in the Abstract Book and Final Program.

| ISTP Awards |
The ISTP Local Scientific Committee will select the “Best Paper” during the Congress. Criteria for selection will be topic and scientific quality of the investigation. The winner will be announced in a special session on the last day.

Guidelines for Submission
□ Title of the paper must appear in upper and lower case.
□ Papers should contain no more than 280 words including acknowledgements. Papers exceeding this limit will not be included for print.
□ Papers should clearly state:
├ Background and objectives
├ Methods
├ Results / Conclusions
Papers stating “data will be discussed in the presentation” will NOT be accepted.
□ Use only standard abbreviations. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word the first time it appears.
□ Use generic names of drugs. Express numbers as numerals.
